The past few days at Al-Huda School were filled with excitement as our students participated in a spirited fundraising competition! From selling delicious treats like waffles and nachos to offering cozy fall goodies and fun stationery items, the children poured their creativity and teamwork into each sale. Their enthusiasm filled the campus with joy and community spirit as they worked together to raise funds for the courtyard they yearned for. This courtyard will function as a relaxing lunch area, a safe space for all the group activities, and an extension of the musallah during Ramadan and Eid.
We are thrilled to share that the competition winners have now been announced (scroll down to get there). Here is a glimpse of what went on at each sale.
Waffle Sale
Midweek brought the sweet aroma of freshly made waffles wafting through the halls! Our Waffle Sale was a huge hit with students and staff alike. It was delightful to see everyone enjoy a little midweek treat while supporting school initiatives.
Nacho Lunch Sale
Next came the Nacho Lunch Sale — a tasty twist that brought a bit of crunch and excitement to lunchtime! The students loved choosing their toppings and sharing a meal with friends. Events like these not only raise funds but also create small moments of joy that make school days special.
Cozy Fall Sale
From colorful drinks, to moulding clays and sweet friendship bracelets, this day saw the enlightened mood of all selling all sorts of things the girls love! It was chaotic, fun, and inspiring for sure.
Ice Cream Sale
Having ice cream at school and getting to choose your own toppings? Yes please! The kids surely had all the fun they could have while ice creams sold like…(not hot cakes, rather delicious cold treats!).
Stationery Sale
Adding even more excitement, students enjoyed browsing through a Stationery Sale featuring colorful stickers, pens, and other fun supplies. It was heartwarming to see the children’s eyes light up as they picked their favorite items — a little something to brighten their desks and inspire creativity.
Each of these moments—big and small—reflects what makes Al-Huda School unique: a place where students grow, laugh, and learn together in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. Our heartwarming congratulations to our dear students who shone brightly with their enthusiasm and fervor to do their best! May Allah accept all their efforts, and may Allah allow us to fulfill all our endeavors to make Al-Huda School the best it can be.
