Our Mission to Connect Hearts to Allah
We are building a model Islamic community—one that nurtures faith, knowledge, and service. Rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, our mission is to provide an environment where Islam is lived, learned, and shared. Through education, social services, and the remembrance of Allah, individuals and families are growing in their deen and contributing to the betterment of society.
Our Story
What began as a small group of believers dedicated to Islamic learning has grown into a thriving community serving thousands. In the early 1990s, Dar-us-Salaam was founded with a vision: to create a place where Muslims could learn, worship, and support one another as one ummah.
Over the years, that vision has taken shape through Al-Huda School, Hifzh School, Ansar ul-Birr Community Services, DUS Youth, and many more projects. We have built an ecosystem where Islam is not just practiced but lived. Today, Dar-us-Salaam continues to grow, offering programs that touch lives locally to develop the next generation of confident leaders. Our aim is that this work continues with your help until the Day of Judgement.

“For over 30 years, Dar-us-Salaam has been a place where Islam is not just taught, but lived. We are raising generations of Muslims who are deeply connected to their faith, their community, and their responsibility to serve. The work we do today will, in sha Allah, continue to benefit the ummah for decades to come.”

The Annual Report
To reflect on our progress and the impact we’ve made with the support of our community. Our latest Annual Impact Report showcases how your contributions help sustain and grow our programs.
“Alhamdulillah, Allah allowed Dar-us-salaam to impact my life over the past 16 years as a son, brother, husband, father, neighbor, and as an employee. Dar-us-Salaam is where I learned the meaning of tawakkul, shukr, sincerity, and community.”
– Fadlullah Firman
“Dar-us-Salaam is the epitome of what I envisioned the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was trying to establish when he first set foot in Madinah – a strong, inspired group of educated Muslims who try to spread Islam through their actions and knowledge.”
– Samir Kabir
“From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt embraced by the kindness of the teachers and students. One experience that stands out is when [Sister Walida and Sister Dalia] listened to my worries with genuine care and offered encouraging words. Sister Dalia reminded me of the importance of trusting Allah, while Sister Walida encouraged me to keep my head up. Whether it’s sharing joys or facing challenges together, the sense of belonging in this community is truly uplifting.”
– Hager Diaaeldin
“I am so glad that my nieces and nephews get the chance to attend Al-Huda. They will receive the same knowledge I acquired from Al-Huda School. Al-Huda really is a college preparatory school because I am going through college like a breeze, Alhamdulilah.”
– Elhaan Sheikh Ahmed
“I love to see little Muslims grow to be holistic, balanced big Muslims! Islam is a system of growth: self-betterment and being the best Muslim go hand-in-hand. I love that Dar-us-Salaam is a catalyst in this process, mashaAllah.”
– Eman Shurbaji
“Al-Huda School’s longevity is a testament to what Allah can cause to come about when Muslims put their trust in Him. Some doubted it would survive past one year, much less 30!”
– Abdul-Qaadir Abdul-Khaaliq
“This school influenced me to wear a hijab, and read Qur’an more often… I started praying 5 times a day, and I was amazed by how welcoming my classmates and teachers were [as a new student].”
– Amina Khan
“I have been here for about 20 years. This moment means and spells: PROGRESS!”
– Atif Nuriddin
“Al-Huda Global School is an essential part of ensuring my children receive both Islamic and secular education, preparing them for success in this world and the next. I recommend every Muslim parent consider this school.”
– Taslima Begum
“I am still pretty new to the school, but when I came, I loved the school so much and everyone there made me feel very welcome. All the teachers and staff were very nice. All the students were very nice as well!! I haven’t been here for that long, but I can just tell that this is an amazing amazing school and In sha Allah many more years will come of me being in it.”
– Nour Hassanein
