Every year, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) holds an annual Education Forum which is designed to empower and strengthen Islamic education in North America. This year, ISNA’s 27th annual Education Forum took place on the weekend of April 3-5 and was held in Chicago. Approximately 450 educators, administrators, and principals of both full-time and weekend Islamic schools from around the US and Canada came together to discuss Arabic and Qur’anic studies, mental health, and leadership.
Ambassadors of Al-Huda Global School, our fully accredited online Islamic school from grades 5-12, along with Dar-us-Salaam’s publishing arm, FAITH Publications, were there to represent us at the ISNA Education Forum.
“This was a highly successful event for both of our projects, Al-Huda Global School and FAITH Publications, Alhamdulillah. We offered attendees the opportunity to partner with us in two different ways,” said Br. Minhaj Hasan, Dar-us-Salaam shura member and director of Dar-us-Salaam’s Strategic Communications department.
“The first was with Al-Huda Global School, which enables Islamic elementary schools to expand into middle or high school, with courses, teachers, and administrative support provided by us. Established high schools gain access to core courses, electives, and clubs — all taught from an Allah-centered lens.
“The second was with FAITH Publications, which united scholars, counselors, and teachers to develop a bold high school Islamic studies curriculum. Designed to support Muslim youths’ well-being, this relatable and practical curriculum helps Muslim teens foster a personal, loving relationship with Allah. Partner schools receive textbooks covering Aqeedah, Fiqh, and Seerah, along with classroom-ready online teacher resources for every chapter.
