Dar-us-Salaam has you covered! Sacred Bond will be hosting a Matchmaking Event to support brothers and sisters who are seeking marriage.
This gathering provides a structured, Islamic setting to meet potential matches.
What should you expect?
- Step 1: Register, fill out your information, and answer some questions about yourself and what you’re looking for in a spouse. (Note: Registration closes on January 01.)
- Step 2: Our Sacred Bond team will review your application and match you with a potential spouse based on your preferences!
- Step 3: Join Sacred Bond in person at the event on Saturday, January 17, in the Dar-us-Salaam Musallah for a brief presentation and lunch.
- Step 4: After lunch, you will be given the opportunity to meet with your match and speak to them one-on-one in a halal, private environment. (Note: Sisters must have a wali present with them. In the case you do not have a wali, please request Sacred Bond to appoint one on your behalf in the application form.)
- Step 5: Next steps! If you and your match agree to pursue, then we encourage both families to move forward with the marriage process. If your match is unsuccessful, then you may request from our Sacred Bond team to pursue other options.
The Itinerary on the Day of the Event
- Introduction: A presentation about the guidelines and etiquettes on speaking to one another.
- Lunch & Salatul ‘Asr
- Meeting: Ushers will escort each match to a private room where a supervisor will be present and the matches may get to know each other.
- Salatul Maghrib
