On Sunday, April 27, Dar-us-Salaam was full of joy and smiles as over 300 of our beloved community members came together for a fun family picnic! People from all walks of life, both Muslim and non-Muslim alike, enjoyed delicious food and a wonderful bonding experience. This event was organized by Dar-us-Salaam’s iMuslimah department, which empowers women through education, creativity, and Islamic gatherings to help build a stronger, more vibrant community.
Kids smiled wide with sticky cheeks and hands from the snow cones they ate to cool down, families and friends gathered over a potluck and bbq and the field and playground of Dar-us-Salaam echoed with the sound of chatter and children’s laughter carried through the breeze of a beautiful spring day.

Thank you for joining us and making this day so special! Events like these remind us of the beauty of our community — the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood that bring us together and strengthen us. It was truly heartwarming to see so many faces, young and old, sharing smiles, stories, and laughter.
May Allah continue to bless our community with unity that brings all of our hearts joy in both the dunya and in Jannah, Ameen!
