It’s an exciting time for those working to make Islamic education more accessible and engaging. Last year, Faith Publications attended the GAIS conference in Sri Lanka and was met with tremendous enthusiasm from the global Islamic education community. Our team connected with educators from the United States, UK, Canada, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Australia, and Thailand, all of whom shared our vision but lacked the resources to bring a curriculum like FAITH’s to their communities. Since then, we have worked to make our books accessible to students everywhere, through partnerships with local publishers and conversations with distribution houses. Alongside this, we have continued building our brand as a revolutionary force in Islamic curriculum, all while developing our most ambitious project yet: Reliving the Seerah, our first step into an Islamic history series.
At FAITH, everything we do is rooted in sincerity and intention to please Allah subhaanahu wa ta’aala alone. By the mercy of Allah subhaanahu wa ta’aala, we’re able to see the fruits of that effort. Following our conversations with educators in Australia last year, one school has now adopted FAITH Publications as their full-time Islamic Studies curriculum. Educators in Canada, Sri Lanka, the UAE, and other countries are also using our books in their classrooms. Alhamdulillah!
This year, FAITH is headed to Indonesia for the three-day-long GAIS conference, from the 4th of October to the 7th of October. We couldn’t be more excited to meet educators from around the world, build new connections, and reconnect with familiar faces, all the while putting FAITH Publications on the global map, In sha Allah.
None of this has been easy, but Allah has continuously guided our path, and with your support and du’aas, we’ve reached heights we once only dreamed of. Yet our vision extends even further: to nurture the love of Allah in the hearts of Muslim youth through Islamic education rooted in authentic texts.
No one has attempted anything of this scale before. No curriculum today teaches Islam, from fiqh to seerah, in a way that directly connects to the youth through real-world and real-time experiences. We want these books in the hands of every Muslim youth, especially now that young people are more globally connected than ever. The mental health struggles and identity challenges facing Muslim youth are no longer confined to the West; they’ve become a global concern. Our mission is to meet that challenge head-on, reminding our young ummah that Islam offers guidance and protection amid the noise that surrounds them.
What was once a mere vision on paper about thirty years ago has now transformed into multiple published books taught as a curriculum and is echoing in classrooms all around the world!
