At Dar-us-Salaam’s Hifzh School, students memorize, perfect their Tajweed, and deepen their understanding through Tafseer. This full-time program shapes character, strengthens Iman, and equips students to lead others in Salah. In addition to studying Qur’an, students also have the following activities during the week:
Translation / Tafseer
This class is held once a week for about 45-minutes. Students go over the word-to-word translation of the Qur’an, and a brief interpretation of the verses covered.
Aqeedah
This class is held once a week for about 30 minutes. Students are taught the various articles of our faith, and their implementation in our daily lives.
Physical Education
Students have P.E. twice a week for about 30 minutes.
