Pearls of Morocco | November 26 – December 04, 2025
Embark on the beauty of Morocco—a land where faith, culture, and history meet in harmony. From the majestic Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca to the scholarly heart of Fez and the lively souks of Marrakech, every step echoes with heritage and wonder. This journey through Morocco will uplift your soul, deepen your spirit, and leave you with lasting memories of devotion and discovery.
Casablanca: Over 1,300 years ago, Islam arrived in Morocco with the march of Uqba ibn Nafi’s Umayyad army. Today, that same legacy towers over the Atlantic Ocean as the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest masajid in the world.
Marrakesh: Nestled at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Marrakesh dazzles with Almohed architecture, bustling markets, and the largest Islamic school in North Africa: Ben Youssef Madrasa.
Rabat: As Islam took root along Casablanca’s coast and Marrakesh’s mountains, Berber warriors established Ribat al-Fath, the “Camp of Conquest,” to protect and spread Islam across Morocco.
Fez: Later, yet centuries before Oxford or Harvard, a Muslim woman built the world’s first university in Fez. Founded by Fatima al-Fihri in 859 CE, Al-Qarawiyyin made Fez the beating heart of Islamic knowledge in North Africa.
