Year round, the Dar-us-Salaam building department is working hard to ensure campus safety for all staff, students, and community members. This includes keeping our campus clean, our security up to date, and our staff trained for emergencies.
Here are our most recent campus updates:
CPR training by certified instructors was provided for 43 Al-Huda School students and 21 staff members, equipping them with life-saving skills, including recognizing cardiac emergencies, performing highquality CPR, and properly using an automated external defibrillator (AED). The training included hands-on practice as well as scenario-based learning and was extended to the students, fostering a culture of preparedness and shared responsibility across the school community. As a result, the school is now better equipped to respond effectively to medical emergencies, enhancing overall campus safety, Alhamdulillah!
New AI-powered cameras have been purchased and installed around the campus.
New fencing and front gate have been purchased and installed on the grounds of the campus.
These improvements are part of our continuous initiative to enhance our campus environment and safety. If you have any questions or advice, email us at shura@darussalaam.org and we’ll be in touch with you, in shaa Allah. May Allah continue to keep our community safe, Ameen!
