When you donate to the Dar-us-Salaam Zakat Foundation, you’re not only fulfilling a religious obligation — you’re changing the lives of local people in need. Dar-us-Salaam takes the amanah of disbursing Zakat Al-Maal very seriously and passes on donor zakat al-maal to those in need, including Muslims in debt and others specifically mentioned in verse 60 of Surah At-Tawbah. Recently, an elderly community member in his eighties reached out with a heartfelt message of gratitude to thank Dar-us-Salaam for the continuous help he receives from our Zakat program.
